Belle Isle St Bernard's was established for the love of the breed.  I aimed for a strong foundation of powerfully-dramatic dogs, where every saint I own comes from a pedigree with National winning dog's.  I breed and show saints that illustrates an elastic approach to the standard - a dog exhibiting an upstanding structure, size, excellent head piece, a silhouette composition, a saintly temperament, type in relation with balance, thus illustrating a dog of virtue and drama.  I've termed this as 'progressive type' breeding.
